It was reported at the early hours of this morning that the Lagos LG Clerk has been kidnapped, the Kidnappers of the clerk of the House of Ikeja Local Government, Mr. Shamsideen Abiodun Omotayo demanded N20 Million ransom to release the man.
The Head of Administration of the Ikeja Local Government, Mrs Mosunmola Otaitu- Cocker, who confirmed, it said that N20 Million was remanded from the council to free the clerk.
The clerk was abducted at Imota on his way to work this morning. The Lagos Neighbourhood and Safety Agency has confirmed it. The Public Affairs Officer of the the agency, Afolabi Olawale confirmed in a message said:”
This is to inform you of the kidnapped incident of the Clerk of the House of Ikeja Local Government, Mr. Shamsideen Abiodun Omotayo .Clerk of the House,Ikeja Local Government. He was abducted at Imota on his say to work this morning.”
