The key game of the day in the Euro 2020 qualifiers comes from Group B, where Serbia will host Portugal in Belgrade for a night clash. With log leaders Ukraine likely to pick up another three points in their trip to Vilnius to face minnow Lithuania, it is critical for the Eagles and the Navigators to get something out of this meeting.
Serbia have managed just four points from their opening three matches, while Portugal have two draws from as many outings. Both teams may be guaranteed a playoff berth by virtue of their Nations League showings but claiming a more direct route of qualification will be the priority, especially for Fernando Santos’ team, who are after all the defending UEFA Euro champions.
Also in Euro 2020 action on Saturday is England, with Gareth Southgate’s team at home to Bulgaria at Wembley in an early-evening clash. The Three Lions have won both of their Group A matches thus far and will be confident of a hat-trick of victories, particularly against a Bulgarian team which has yet to win from four outings and sits at the bottom of the log.
England may well find themselves making up ground in the group, as the early game on Saturday for SuperSport viewers to enjoy sees Czech Republic looking to open up a three-point lead with a win in Pristina against Kosovo.
Saturday will also feature three Group H matches, with Iceland at home to Moldova, Turkey hosting Andorra in Istanbul and reigning World Cup champions France chasing a win against Albania in Saint-Denis. Le Bleus top the group on nine points, but the only lead Iceland and Turkey on goal difference, making an emphatic win over the Red and Blacks a must for Didier Deschamps and his charges.
