LAWMA unveils 6 Nollywood stars as Ambassadors

As part of efforts to keep the mega city clean, the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has unveiled six Nollywood stars as Ambassadors.

 

The actors include Bolanle Ninaolowo, Foluke Daramola, Woli Arole, Onyebuchi Ojeih (Buchi the comedian), Olatayo Amokade (Ijebuu), and Adenike Hamzat.

 

The Managing Director of LAWMA Mr Ibrahim Odumboni officially inaugurated  the LAWMA Ambassadors on Wednesday 2nd September, 2020. This initiative is to further project the organization to the general public and improve the existing bond.

 

 

Commenting to the new roles, the actors expressed determination to represent and promote the values of the waste management authority.

Bolanle Ninalowo also known as Nino, Makanaki said he is delighted to be part of the selected ambassador and said he his ready to identify with LAWMA. Bolanle emphasized that the work to keep lagos clean is a collective effort of all lagos residents and environs, and it starts right from our homes.

 

Foluke Daramola-Salako said, “Signed and Sealed, we are more than ready to push Lagos forward, together we can! Many thanks to LAWMA for the privilege to serve as an ambassador, it’s such a huge honour. Many thanks to friends and family for your consistent and continuous support! Let’s keep Lagos clean.

 

On his part, Olatayo Amokade popularly known as ‘Ijebu’ said, “Excited to be named as one of the newest LAWMA ambassadors. Our goal is to have a Lagos where waste is properly managed and recycled.”

Mr Ibrahim said “Our Brand Ambassadors were carefully selected because of their track record and personalities.

Mr Ibrahim Odumboni, said LAWMA of today is a refocused one and dedicated one ,fully committed to its core mandate of excellent. “With the inauguration of the LAWMA Ambassadors, in the next few years, we will see LAWMA on a higher pedestal and better positioned to perform its duties to the satisfaction of the state residents. “We can only achieve remarkable feats with formidable cooperation and support of all stakeholders.’’
