The Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government Area in Edo State Comrade John Osi Akhigbe has budgeted the sum of N3.4bn for the year 2018.
Akhigbe, who presented the estimate before the legislative arm said the document was prepared along the policy thrust of the state government with sustained commitment to infrastructural development in primary education and improved Health Care Delivery.
Other focused area in the budget according to him include, Environmental Sanitation and Beautifi cation, good road network, Welfares, socialeconomic empowerment of the people and rural transformation and general well-being of the people.
Akhigbe, who further stated that the estimate is christened “Budget of Growth”, said it would be financed through funds from SURE-P/Paris Club Refund, Internal Generated Revenue, Excess Crude/NLNG amongst others.
