That’s according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol who has given an update that Conte is expected to leave Chelsea despite winning the FA Cup final against Manchester United at Wembley last weekend.
The Italian has clashed with Blues chiefs over not getting the players he wanted last summer in the transfer window.
And Solhekol has confirmed Sarri is likely to be the man to replace him.
He tweeted: “Maurizio Sarri has general agreement to become Chelsea manager if/when Antonio Conte leaves.Conte’s side ended up a massive 30 points behind champions Manchester City.
Reports in Italy have also suggested that Eden Hazard is pushing for Sarri to replace the Italian at Stamford Bridge.
La Gazzetta dello Sport say the Belgian wants the former Napoli manager in charge at Chelsea.Hazard’s Belgium team-mate Dries Mertens has convinced the winger that Sarri would be perfect for the job.
Sarri has been replaced at Napoli by Carlo Ancelotti.
