The court papers filed by Edo State-based anti-corruption crusader, Bishop Osadolor Ochei, for the prosecution of a former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, over allegations of massive corruption has emerged.
The paper, a 23-page affidavit, was accompanied by two other pages of further affidavit. Ochei is seeking an order of mandamus to compel the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to try Oshiomhole to court for corruption.
The story was earlier published by The Eagle Online.
The papers were filled at the Federal High Court, Abuja, apparently to stop the ambition of Oshiomhole to emerge as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
No date has yet been fixed for hearing of the ex-parte motion by the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Abdul Kafarati.
