The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of candidates eligible to participate in the general elections.
The list contains the names of candidates for the presidential, national and state assemblies.
The presidential candidates’ list has 144 names, including those of running mates.
There are 28 women on the list.
A total of 72 Presidential candidates and another 72 Vice-Presidential candidates are expected to run for the president election.
