Nigeria’s foremost supporter of arts and culture, Globacom, has commended the six Nigerian top artistes featured on the soundtrack of the latest Disney movie, “The Lion King”.
The soundtrack which was produced by globally acclaimed American superstar, Beyonce Knowles and premiered on July 19,2019 featured Wizkid, Yemi Alade,Tekno,Burna Boy,Mr. Eazi and Tiwa Savage.
Globacom expressed delight that these worthy ambassadors have further flown the Nigerian flag higher globally.
“We are proud to have engaged these artistes at one point or the other in their careers. Infact, three of them namely Wizkid, Yemi Alade and Tekno featured in our “We got people talking” television commercial that is bursting the internet and has recorded over a million views on You Tube.
“This feat is indicative of the quantum of value and mileage which Nigerian youth are capable of adding to the country’s image. We urge other acts to raise their craft and vocation by being globally competitive,” the company added.
