Viewers on DStv and GOtv will need to gear up for a thrilling week of football action, as we bring you the ‘Beautiful Game’ from the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A.

The home of the Premier League on DStv will be SuperSport 3. DStv Compact customers and above will have access to the best matches of each round. GOtvMax and Plus, as well as DStv Access and Family customers, won’t miss out either, with access to a number of live matches.

The pick of the round’s matches in the Premier League is undoubtedly the clash between Manchester United and Arsenal at Old Trafford on the evening of Monday 30 September. The meeting of the Red Devils and the Gunners is one of the great fixtures in the history of the Premier League, and that remains the case even if neither team can currently be regarded as title contenders in the same way they were back in the days of respective managers Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.

DStv subscribers from Premium to Family will have front row seats to all La Liga games, while on GOtv, Max is the home of the Spanish league and all the best games will be available on the package, while Plus customers can tune in twice a week for selected matches.

The pick of the midweek games in La Liga comes from the Camp Nou on Tuesday night, where champions Barcelona will host Villarreal. The match is set to be a thriller and one for fans of African players to keep a close eye on, with the prospect of Barca’s Anssumane Fati and Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze featuring as the key attacking players.

DStv Family customers have a boosted offering of Serie A and will see all the matches, while Access customers will be able to catch two games a week. GOtvMax and GOtv Plus customers will enjoy our coverage of the best action from Italy.

The pick of the midweek Serie A matches comes from San Siro on Wednesday night, as Internazionale host Lazio. The Nerazzurri, if they are to be genuine title contenders, they will need to rack up as many home points as possible and will be targeting a victory in this clash against Le Aquile.

However, Lazio have gotten the better of Inter in their last two trips to Milan, winning 1-0 in a Serie A clash in March, as well as on penalties in the Coppa Italia back in January, and they will be confident of slowing the momentum of manager Antonio Conte and his charges.
