Muslims in Nigeria have been enjoined to continue to pray for the unity of the country as they join their counterparts worldwide to celebrate Eid-el-Fitri.

Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid-el-Fitri annually to mark the end of the Ramadan month of fasting. The day of Eid falls on the first day of Shawwal.
The fourth pillar of the Islamic faith and the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, the holy month of Ramadan is the period in which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset for 29 or 30 days. The Ramadan started on 24th of April after the moon was sighted and will end by 23th of May 2020.
