Olamilekan ‘Laycon’ Agbeleshe has finally emerged the head of house (HoH) at the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show.
The 26-year-old achieved the feat in the final week of the show ahead of Sunday’s grand finale.
On Monday, Biggie, the instructive behind the show’s screen, had asked the housemates to unanimously nominate one person among them as the HoH.
Biggie had given them 24 hours to make the decision.
On Tuesday night, the housemates had selected the graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for the position and it was thereafter approved by Biggie.
This makes it the first time Laycon will emerge the HoH since this year’s edition of the show commenced.
Prior to his emergence, he had only served as deputy HoH to Trickytee who was evicted on Sunday.
Laycon has continued to pull the strings ahead of the final and is considered by many as a top contender to win this year’s grand prize.
There are currently five housemates jostling for the N85 million grand prize.
This year’s BBNaija has so far lived up to expectations when it comes to controversies and the usual social media frenzy.
This is despite the early fears that greeted the airing of the reality TV show as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
