Lagos Assembly Speaker, Obasa, Appoints Legit.ng Editor, Eromosele Ebhomele, As New CPS

Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa has appointed seasoned journalist and public relations manager, Eromosele Ebhomele, as his new Chief Press Secretary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The appointment of Mr. Eromosele followed the sack of the former CPS, Mr. Tolani Abati, in what was considered as a major shakeup in the cabinet of the speaker in January 2021.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eromosele Ebhomele, an investigative and interpretative journalist, until his appointed is the head, Human Stories Desk Manager at one of the leading online media platform, Legit.ng.

 

 

 

 

 

 

He is a graduate of Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo state, is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). His career in journalism has, at different times, afforded him the opportunity of being health, education, and political correspondent.

While working with the Independent Communications Network Limited (Publishers of TheNews and PM NEWS) he rose steadily, over the years, to become a features correspondent, acting news editor and online editor. At Legit.ng, he is a senior editor covering politics and heads the human interest desk. He loves reading, writing and carrying out researches.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reacting to the news of his appointment, Editor of Global Excellence magazine, Mr. Folorunsho Hamzat said; “He’s no doubt deserving of the post.

Recalled that on Tuesday January 12, 2021, Hon. Obasa dismissed Saka Fafunmi, his Chief of Staff, his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Tolani Abati; Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Hon. Dayo Famakinwa and Special Adviser on Research, Oladimeji Oriyomi in a tactical move and the first major cabinet changes the State Government made in 2021.
