The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has urged the public not to engage in panic buying petroleum products as the Company currently has sufficient stock of products that will last the festive period and beyond.
More so, the Corporation has also made it a duty to engage all stakeholders to ensure smooth supply and distribution of products to every part of the country.
Meanwhile, this announcement by the NNPC is following the attitude of Nigerians towards buying and saving up petroleum products ranging from fuel, kerosene and diesel fuel particularly within the festive period for fear of the scarcity or price upsurge of these products.
Hence the need to reassure the public of the availability of these products and to ensure calmness and dissuade panic.
