The theme? “Bringing Net 5.5G Into Reality: Inspiring New Growth.”

Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications Innovation and Digital Economy, didn’t mince words.
The Summit, he said, is all about pushing Nigeria’s digital transformation forward and tapping into the potential of IPv6 to spark new growth.
Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, NITDA’s Director General, took it a step further. He tied the push for IPv6 to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s broader vision—making Nigeria a leader through industrialization, digitization, and innovation.
Abdullahi made it clear: adopting IPv6 isn’t optional; it’s essential for real growth and innovation in Nigeria.
