The highly anticipated Digital Nigeria International Conference 2024, which was originally slated to take place from October 22nd to 24th, has been postponed.

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) announced this decision, citing unforeseen circumstances related to the event venue.

The International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, which was set to host the conference, is currently undergoing extensive renovations.

The work on the venue will not be completed in time for the conference, and despite efforts, no alternative venue has been found that can accommodate the event’s scale and requirements within the original timeframe.

In a public notice, NITDA expressed regret for the inconvenience this postponement may cause.

“We sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause to your plans,” the notice reads, signed by Mrs. Hadiza Umar, Director of Corporate Communications and Media Relations at NITDA.

NITDA assured attendees and stakeholders that efforts are underway to secure a new date and venue for the conference. Updates on the rescheduled details will be provided as soon as they are confirmed.

The Digital Nigeria International Conference is an important annual event, drawing participants from across the globe to discuss technological advancements, digital economy trends, and innovation in Nigeria’s ICT sector.

For further inquiries or updates, stakeholders are encouraged to stay connected with NITDA through their official communication channels.
