Recognising this, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) have joined forces to rally Nigeria’s tech community around one goal; a unified, collaborative digital ecosystem.
At the Principal IT Stakeholders Forum 2025, held in Abuja, both organisations emphasized that Nigeria’s digital transformation must be a collective journey.
Representing NITDA’s Director-General, Kashifu Inuwa CCIE, the Director of Stakeholders Management and Partnerships, Dr. Aristotle Onumo, captured the essence of this mission perfectly:

A Roadmap for Collective Progress
Dr. Onumo also highlighted NITDA’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2.0) 2024–2027, which focuses on digital literacy, talent development, technology research, cybersecurity, and digital trust.
He urged IT stakeholders to join hands in NITDA’s ongoing digital literacy drive to ensure that digital growth benefits every Nigerian, not just a privileged few.
“Building a digitally powered Nigeria is a task that cannot be achieved in isolation,” he stressed.
The forum ended on a united note, with participants committing to deepen partnerships across government, academia, and the private sector.
As Nigeria moves toward a trillion-dollar digital economy, NITDA and NCS are proving that shared vision and collaboration remain the backbone of sustainable digital transformation — one ecosystem, one goal, one digital Nigeria.
