Tomeka Thiam, the estranged wife of American R&B Pop singer, Akon is seeking to end their 29-year-old marriage in court.
She is also demanding the sum of $100 million as compensation as part of the divorce settlement.
The woman argued that she contributed immensely to the establishment of the musician’s business empire which spans the music industry, Real Estate and the Akon Light Africa Initiative.
However, legal officials were shocked after it was discovered that Akon only had $10,000 balance in his account as the large chunk of his $60 million fortune is comfortably sitting in his mother’s bank account.
