The Lagos State government on Monday re-arraigned the convicted billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, for the alleged murder of two police officers at the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja.
Evans and his co-defendant, Joseph Emeka, were arraigned on a five-count charge of murder, attempted murder, and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
However, both men pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The same court sentenced Evans and two others to life imprisonment for kidnapping and conspiracy on February 25, 2022.
