The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday lost another prominent member, as Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu, dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor announced his defection at a press conference on Tuesday in Enugu, the state capital.
Mbah said he made the decision to join the APC to better serve the people of the state and align with the party’s vision for development and progress.
“Today, after a long period of reflection, we have decided to leave the PDP and join the APC,” Mbah said.
