Music legend Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has come out publicly to defend his wife, Natasha Osawaru, revealing that she is now receiving death threats as their marital issues continue to draw widespread attention.
In a video shared online on Friday, the award-winning singer said the situation has escalated far beyond what he can tolerate in silence. He described the growing interference from relatives and outsiders as a major factor worsening the crisis.
“This whole situation has gotten dangerously out of hand, and I can’t keep quiet anymore,” 2Baba said in the video. “I’m grown, and I have the right to do what I want.”
He explained that although his family claims they are trying to “save” him or “support” him, their involvement has only intensified the conflict and exposed Natasha to a wave of online harassment and threats.
According to 2Baba, the attacks on his wife have now reached a frightening level, with Natasha allegedly receiving death threats from unknown individuals.
He said, “My family, who claimed they wanted to save me, have actually destroyed me and damaged Natasha’s character. She is getting death threats. This is unfair. My family did the same thing with Annie.”
The singer added that he felt compelled to speak out to protect his wife and set the record straight, stressing that the narrative surrounding their relationship has been twisted by misinformation and meddling from people who do not fully understand their situation.
