The ongoing DNA controversy involving Afrobeats superstar Davido has taken a new turn after Ayo Labinjoh, who claims to be the singer’s babymama, accused Ovation publisher Dele Momodu of refusing to intervene in the dispute.
Labinjoh made the allegation in a post shared via her daughter Anu Adeleke’s Instagram page on Wednesday, where she reiterated her claim that the DNA test said to have been conducted on the child was not authentic.

She also directed sharp criticism at media personality Daddy Freeze, accusing him of publicly declaring that her child is not biologically related to Davido and attempting to protect the singer’s public image.

According to Labinjoh, Daddy Freeze’s comments have further complicated the situation and added to the emotional strain surrounding the already contentious paternity issue.

Labinjoh further claimed that Dele Momodu, whom she described as being close to the Adeleke family and an uncle to Davido’s first daughter, Imade Adeleke, has chosen to remain silent despite the gravity of the matter.

She expressed disappointment that someone she believes holds influence within the family has not stepped in to mediate or help resolve the dispute.

The DNA saga has continued to stir intense debate online, with supporters of both Davido and Labinjoh exchanging accusations as fresh claims surface.

As of the time of reporting, neither Davido, Dele Momodu, nor Daddy Freeze has issued an official response to the latest allegations.
