A viral video of former Edo State Governor and Senator representing Edo North in the National Assembly, Sen. Adams Oshiomhole, giving his wife, Lara Fortes, a foot massage inside a private jet has sparked different reactions from Nigerians since the video surfaced on social media space on Monday.
The simple act of love from the Senator to his wife has however, led to a backlash with many social media users accusing Oshiomhole and other Nigerian politicians of hypocrisy and living ostentatious lifestyle amid the economic hardship Nigerians are going through.
Some commenters also criticized the Senator following his recent comments where he claimed that food is now too cheap in Nigeria, which Nigerians saw as a sharp contrast to what the ordinary citizens are facing due to the policies of the current government.
