Former Niger Delta militant leader, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has once again warned the United States against forcefully and disrespectfully entering Nigeria as he will mobilize his standby army to fight and defeat them.
In a video clip he shared on his social media platforms on Friday, the ex-leader of the now defunct Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), dismissed fears of a US invasion of Nigeria, arguing that America only relies on threats instead of engaging in conventional warfare for fear of defeat.
Askari-Dokubo who was reacting to the arrival of a small team of US military officers to Nigeria during the week, boasted that if the American soldiers attack or invade any part of Nigeria, he will mobilize his standby army to go after them and make sure none of the US soldiers leaves the country alive.
This is not the first time that Dokubo had threatened to fight and kill American soldiers if they ever stepped their feet into Nigeria.
In November 2025, he had released a video where he described the United States as “a sick country”, and went on to criticise Trump’s conduct and foreign posturing.
“Let Trump come with his America, they will all die, this lunatic wants to annex Canada, he wants Iceland, wants to kill the president of Venezuela, he wants to kill the Supreme leader of Iran,” he had boasted in a video message.
