Veteran Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has shared personal reflections about moments in his life he wishes he could change.

Speaking in a snippet from the Mic On podcast hosted by Seun Okinbaloye on Friday, the singer admitted that hindsight has made him rethink certain decisions and reactions in his past.

“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times wey some things go too much and it will get to you. My bullet-proof vest don week now,” he said in Pidgin English.

2Baba also addressed the reported incident involving his wife, Natasha Osawaru, and his arrest in London in October 2025, acknowledging that his emotions got the better of him at the time.

“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he added, without going into further detail.

During the conversation, the music icon weighed in on the recurring comparison between Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and contemporary star Wizkid, firmly rejecting the narrative.

“It’s disrespectful to Fela and at the same time unfair to Wizkid,” 2Baba said, stressing that both artists belong to different eras and should be appreciated on their own merits.
