Former Niger Delta militant and ex-leader of the now defunct Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has issued a warning to the United States with a threat that any American who comes into Nigeria to negotiate oil deals will meet his end.
Dokubo who made threat in a video circulating online on Friday, said the major motive for the US to send their soldiers into Nigeria in the guise of fighting terrorism is to pave the way for negotiating oil deals.
He also alleged that the said secret deals are being linked to the proscribed Igbo separatist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
“Every American that comes here because of the oil will die here, they will not live here. That they want to take the oil of the people to give to the Igbo people will die here. They will die here,” Dokubo said.
Continuing, he said:
“We are going to negotiate with America with the oil. I am telling you, every American that comes here because of oil will die here,” Dokubo said.
