Veteran Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has sparked public discourse after making a strong remark about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during a live performance in Edo State.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the outspoken artiste criticised the current administration and reacted to the President’s recent visit to victims of the attacks in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North, Plateau State.
“Tinubu is the worst president. Anyone supporting APC, may Nigeria happen to you. He went to Jos to console victims but didn’t visit the affected community. Seyi said he’s doing well; if true, we’ll confirm it,” he said.
His comments come amid growing concerns over insecurity and governance, with many Nigerians expressing different views about the government’s response to recent incidents in the country.
Last year, the superstar released a protest song to tackle government inefficiency; however, it was later banned by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Amid the controversy, the song, ‘Tell Your Papa’, attracted widespread attention and streams despite the broadcast ban.
Eedris Abdulkareem, known for his outspoken nature, has previously used his platform to address several political and social issues in the country.
