President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to visit Lagos on Wednesday and Thursday for a two-day working tour during which he will inaugurate six major infrastructure projects delivered by the state government.
The announcement was made by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile, who revealed the development in a statement on Monday.
Akosile, via a post on X, noted that the President’s visit would focus on commissioning key projects described as transformative to the state’s development.
“Please join the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu to welcome President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to a two-day working visit to our dear State. While here, the President will commission some of our iconic, transformative and legacy projects,” Akosile stated.
The projects lined up for inauguration include the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information Service building located in Alausa, the Lagos State Multi-Agency Complex, the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle, the Maracana Stadium, and the Lagos Food Logistics Hub in Abijo.
Also speaking on the development, the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, said the projects were designed to tackle pressing infrastructure challenges across the state.
