Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose on Thursday reiterated his earlier declaration that he would become Nigeria’s President in 2019 saying “I want them to hear in the Villa. I will be president of Nigeria tomorrow.”
Fayose said this while addressing thousands of women at an event to commemorate the 2018 International Women’s Day.
The governor appreciated his wife at the event held at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti.
Speaking during the event, Fayose said: “We will not allow anybody to cow us. Na them sabi hate speech. They are the determinants of hate speech. But when they say it, is not hate speech. When others say don’t suffer Nigerians, it becomes hate speech.”
“One thing I want to remind them is that power belongs to God. You are there today, we will be there tomorrow.
“I want them to hear in the Villa, I will be president of Nigeria tomorrow”, he said.
“My names are Ayo Peter Fayose. I want them to hear in the Villa. I will be president of Nigeria tomorrow.
“Sometimes, it is difficult for people to believe but when it happens, I want you to know that I’ve said so before.”
“All I said about this present APC government have stood the test of time.”
“Nigerians are angry, they want a better change. A change that is not selective. By the grace of God Ekiti will be part of the government at the centre in 2019 by the grace of God.
“Don’t worry about this challenges. Whoever wants to stop Fayose will be consumed by heavenly host.
“They have failed in all their promises. They told us they will kill Boko Haram in 2 months. Today Boko Haram kills people everyday.
Recall that Fayose had in September 2017 declared his intention to run for Presidency in 2019.
