The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has again reduced the ex-depot price of petrol, lowering its gantry rate from N828 to N699 per litre.

According to real-time market data published on Petroleumprice.ng on Friday, the refinery implemented another significant downward adjustment—cutting the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) benchmark price by N129 per litre, representing a 15.58 per cent reduction.

The new price became effective on December 11, 2025, and marks the refinery’s 20th petrol price adjustment this year.

Further checks on Petroleumprice.ng indicate that several private depots have also reviewed their prices downward in response to the latest reduction. Sigmund Depot trimmed its ex-depot price by N4 to N824 per litre, while Bulk Strategic recorded a marginal N3 decrease. TechnoOil made one of the steepest cuts, slashing its price by N15.

Other depots—including A.A. Rano, NIPCO and Aiteo—were also reported to have made slight adjustments as the market aligned with the updated Dangote pricing template.
