Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has publicly debunked a viral claim suggesting that he and his wife, Temi Otedola, have welcomed their first child.
The rumour spread on X after a post announced the supposed birth, accompanied by photos from the couple’s traditional wedding and a set of AI-generated images depicting Temi cradling a white baby.
Reacting to the post, Mr Eazi delivered a brief but pointed response that quickly gained traction online. “Is Temi aware of this?” he wrote, effectively dismissing the claim as false.
His reaction sparked widespread engagement, with fans and observers interpreting the comment as a clear denial and a subtle critique of the misinformation being circulated.
The incident has reignited conversations about the misuse of artificial intelligence to create convincing but false narratives involving public figures, particularly when such content spreads rapidly on social media.
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, got married in an elegant ceremony in 2023 and have since maintained a relatively private personal life.
As of now, the couple have made no announcement about expecting or welcoming a child, underscoring Mr Eazi’s reaction as a reminder of the growing challenge fake news poses in the digital age.
