Paul Okoye, one-half of defunct music group, P Square has opened up about his search for true love following the end of his first marriage to his first wife, Anita.
In a revealing interview with Clout Africa aired on Wednesday, Paul, known to fans as Rudeboy, said that after experiencing heartbreak, he tried dating several other women, but none seemed to match his ideals or emotional needs.
Paul who described his previous relationships as tests that failed to meet his expectations said that it was only when he met Ivy Zenny that he found the connection he had been longing for.
He candidly shared that while he was eager to find love, he often found himself disillusioned. “I tried three other girls but they failed my test,” he remarked, emphasizing how important it was for him to find someone who resonated with his values and lifestyle. This quest for the right partner made him realize just how unique and special Ivy was.
The multiple award-winning singer highlighted that marriage, while fun, should not be viewed as a life-and-death matter. Paul noted that the right partnership fosters a sense of peace and happiness, allowing both individuals to thrive.
