The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has sacked all commissioners and other political appointees in the state.
Soludo, who was sworn-in for second term in office on Tuesday, directed all political appointees in the state to hand over their duties with immediate effect.
The governor gave the directive in a circular signed on Wednesday by the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Nwabufor Nwankwo.
“I am directed to inform all political appointees to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior civil servant in the various MDAs on or before the close of work today, until a new cabinet is constituted,” the circular read.
