Viewers on DStv and GOtv can look forward to a European treat on the midweek of 5-6 November 2019 as the fourth Matchday of the UEFA Champions League group stage is held, featuring 16 matches across the continent.

The UEFA Champions League action begins on Tuesday 5 November, with the top match coming from the Westfalenstadion as Borussia Dortmund host Internazionale. The Italian side claimed a 2-0 home win in the reverse fixture in October, leaving BVB in need of a strong performance to keep themselves in contention for a place in the last 16.

Tuesday also features European kings Liverpool at home to Genk, Barcelona looking to take a major stride toward the next round with a win at home to Salvia Prague, and Chelsea will look to continue their excellent recent form when they welcome Ajax to Stamford Bridge. The Blues claimed an impressive victory in Amsterdam last time out and will be confident of completing a group ‘double’ over last season’s semifinalists.

Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League is headlined by Atalanta at home to Manchester City. Le Dea have struggled to replicate their excellent domestic form on the continental stage and suffered a 5-1 mauling at the hands of the Citizens in the reverse game in October, leaving them in desperate need of a three-point haul to have any chance of continuing in Europe this term.

Other matches for SuperSport viewers to watch out for on Wednesday include Juventus away to Lokomotiv Moscow, Real Madrid at home to Turkish giants Galatasaray and Bayer Leverkusen with a must-win match at home to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid. In addition, Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of continuing in the UEFA Champions League will hinge on getting a result in their tough trip to Belgrade to face Crvena Zvezda (Red Star).
