Football fans will be treated to a bumper package this weekend as games from the Premier League will be aired on GOtv this weekend.

The games, scheduled to hold from 14-15 March, will be broadcast live on SuperSport Select 2 to GOtv Jolli and GOtv Max subscribers.

A fascinating game lies in prospect as Manchester City host Burnley at the Etihad Stadium. The game kicks off at 4pm and will be aired live on SuperSport Select 2.

Knowing that the chances of retaining the league title is now relatively slim, Manchester City are now hoping to cement their second position on the log. The Citizens have lost two of their last five matches and are four points ahead of third-placed Leicester City, even though they have played one game less. Manager Pep Guardiola will hope that squad can bounce back from their recent difficulties and finish the season on a high. Burnley, on the other hand, may not have hit the heights of their performance three seasons ago but they are having a decent season, currently placed in 10th position. The Clarets will want to exact revenge for the 1-4 defeat suffered in the reverse fixture and manager Sean Dyche will desperately want the win knowing that his team are just six points off the UEFA Europa League slot.

Also on Saturday, Chelsea will want to cement the fourth position when they travel to face Aston Villa at Villa Park. The game will be aired live on SuperSport Select 4 at 6:30pm.

Aston Villa are languishing in the 19th position, having lost four consecutive games and managed a solitary win in their last five matches. Although The Claret and Blue lost the reverse fixture 1-2 at Stamford Bridge in December 2019, manager Dean Smith will galvanise his players to get the all-important win in order to climb out of the relegation zone. Chelsea, however, are glittering in the top half of the table after claiming a vital win against Everton last week. The Blues are in prime position to pick the fourth and final spot for next season’s UEFA Champions League and manager Frank Lampard will want to ensure his players seal up qualification quickly.
