No doubt, everyone has been affected by the global pandemic, Covid-19 and funny enough, every sector of the economy has been affected in one way or the other, though it affects some more.

One of the sectors that have been affected negatively is the religion sector. Churches and mosques have not been able to open since the pandemic started, several men of God too have not been able to reach out to people because there is almost no means to do that.

However, in Christianity, the voice that has been resounding consistently for these months that church didn’t open is that of Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church.

Ever since the pandemic started, so many events have occurred, people have died, the famous have been affected, amidst this period, we had several political saga that caused tension in the air, and so many other things, surprisingly, none of these things took place without Primate Ayodele mentioning them earlier.

When the pandemic started, churches were asked to close down at some point and Primate Ayodele went all out to speak against the government for the decision, he explained that what the country need is prayer and not a close down of churches. He explained that locking people down will cause so much hunger in the land, increase in criminal activities, banditry and the likes.

After he said these things, there was backlash, people said he wanted offering but the man of God made it known that the government should put a ban on offering and tithes because that isn’t what he is after, he just wants people to gather and pray so the battle against the virus can be won.

Few months after he said this, the world health organization have decided to partner with religious organisations for the purpose of prayer against Covid-19, just as he adviced them.

Also, he made it known that he sees Covid-19 becoming an airborne disease, and as at today, some scientists have made it known that the virus can be contracted from the air.

Primate Ayodele had also predicted the death of influential personalities with specific mentions of Aso rock, and government houses. It is worthy of being noted that Covid-19 has killed President Muhammadu Buhari’s former chief of staff, Abba Kyari, Former Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, a Lagos senator, Bayo Osinowo, a lagos assembly member, Hon. Tunde Braimoh, to mention a few. Several governors too have contracted the virus and some are still fighting for their lives as a result of it.

Primate Ayodele had also made it known that the peak of the virus will be between July and August.  As at now, the number at which cases arises is alarming, in Nigeria, since the beginning of July, the average case in a day is 500, as against 300 in previous months.

Apart from the Covid-19 crisis, Primate Ayodele also predicted the political situation in Nigeria at the moment, especially in Edo and Ondo state.

Earlier before APC Primaries in Edo state, Primate Ayodele made a prophecy that went viral that he sees Obaseki being eased out by his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole, after he had also predicted conflict between them. As he said it, Obaseki was eased out of APC primaries and wasn’t allowed to contest, which made him decamp to PDP. While the trouble was going on, he warned Adams Oshiomhole to be careful or else, he won’t see 2023 as the national president of the APC. Few days after Obaseki was eased out, Oshiomhole was removed as the national chairman of the party by the court.

Also in Ondo state, he warned Akeredolu to be careful of betrayal and adviced APC to give the ticket to Akeredolu in order to prevent future issues.

The battle EFCC acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu is facing too had been predicted by him in 2019. He categorically said he will be disgraced out of office and won’t be appreciated, we all can see how these have played out.

No doubt, Primate Ayodele’s relevance in the prophetic ministry can’t be over-emphasized
