In a bid to propel local businesses to greater heights, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), alongside the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA), have joined forces to empower 50 homegrown entrepreneurs through a dynamic digital marketing training program.
This three-day initiative aimed to equip Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the latest digital tools and strategies, ensuring they stay ahead in today’s competitive market. With a focus on modern technologies, participants learned how to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, aligning their businesses with the digital age.
During the program’s kickoff in Katsina, Deputy Governor Mallam Farouk Lawal Jobe lauded participants for their commitment to innovation, urging them to maximize the knowledge gained from the training. He emphasized that embracing digital strategies not only fosters business growth but also contributes to the overall advancement of the MSMEs sector.
He said, “In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, your decision to embrace innovation will undoubtedly propel your businesses to new heights of success. He commended NITDA’s foresight in selecting Katsina State for the program, recognizing its potential to revolutionize local businesses.
Representing NITDA Director General Kashifu Inuwa, Dr. Salisu Kaka underscored the pivotal role of MSMEs in driving economic growth. He highlighted NITDA’s commitment to empowering MSMEs through digital literacy campaigns and tailored technology-driven solutions, emphasizing the agency’s dedication to navigating the digital terrain effectively.
