Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has alleged that her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, is using his political influence to intimidate members of her family as tensions deepen in their ongoing marital dispute.
In a series of emotional posts shared via her Instagram Stories on Monday, Regina claimed that her elder brother and sister had been arrested, with her younger sister also facing possible detention.
The actress suggested that the arrests were part of efforts to compel her to return to what she described as a rehabilitation arrangement, though she stopped short of disclosing details about the alleged facility or the reasons behind it.
“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. My big brother and big sister have been arrested; my baby sister might be arrested soon as well until I return and, according to him, return to rehab,” Ms. Daniels wrote.
She said that Mr. Nwoko had called her a drug addict and threatened to divulge additional information about their disagreement, saying that she was “trying to be the bigger person,” but that if her family was still being tormented, she would not remain silent.
“Leave my family alone, Ned! And leave me alone too! It is obvious it’s war,” she wrote, lamenting that their once “beautiful but short legacy” was now being ridiculed publicly.
The accusations mark a new chapter in the high-profile couple’s relationship, which has been under growing public scrutiny.
As of press time, Senator Nwoko has not responded to the allegations, and the situation has sparked widespread discussion across social media, with calls from fans and industry peers urging both parties to seek peaceful resolution as the controversy continues to unfold.
