Nigerian media personality and television host Frank Edoho has spoken publicly about his failed second marriage and ongoing divorce proceedings amid social media allegations involving his ex-wife and a popular singer.
The development comes days after unverified reports surfaced online claiming Edoho’s ex-wife allegedly had an affair with a well-known Nigerian musician (Omah Lay) while they were still married. The reports triggered widespread reactions across social media platforms.
Responding in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Edoho thanked supporters for the messages, prayers and concern following the renewed public attention on his personal life.
According to the former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host, the separation is not recent, noting that he has privately dealt with the situation for nearly two years and has already found emotional peace.
“Over the past few days, I’ve received an outpouring of kind messages, prayer, concern and goodwill regarding my separation and ongoing divorce proceedings. I truly appreciate the empathy,” he wrote.
“While I understand that the public is only just becoming aware of this chapter, I have lived through it privately for quite some time now (almost 2 years) and have since made peace with it emotionally.”
Edoho added that he remains focused and grateful despite the circumstances, saying, “Life unfolds in different seasons, and sometimes moving forward quietly is the most dignified path one can take. I am well, focused, at peace and deeply grateful for the love, respect and support so many of you continue to show me.”
