Aura V made history at the 68th Grammy Awards, becoming the youngest individually credited Grammy winner ever at 8 years and 7 months old.
Notably, the 2026 Grammy Award was hosted by Trevor Noah in Los Angeles.
It was his last time hosting the event, and he brought his signature humor, poking fun at celebrities including icki Minaj and Donald Trump.
She won Best Children’s Music Album alongside her father Fyütch for their album “Harmony”, beating out notable artists like Tori Amos and Mega Ran.
Aura broke the record previously held by Blue Ivy Carter, who won her first Grammy at 9 years old in 2021, and Leah Peasall, who was 8 years and 10 months old when she won as part of the Peasall Sisters in 2002.
At the concluded 68th Grammy Awards Tyla won the Best African Music Perfomance award at the 68th Grammy Awards for her song “Push 2 Start”.
This is her second win in the category, following her first win in 2024 for “water”.
